I saw that my current SSL certificate expires on 12/22/2024 so I did pay for the renewal. However the new certificate, currently in pending verification state, is displayed in the dashboard with an expire date at 12/03/2025 E.g one year duration from the payment date of today. If that's really the case then I regret that I paid so early for the certificate renewal, because I may have wait the expiration date of the current one at 12/22/2024. Also I'm a bit surprised because for example on GoDaddy, certificates have a duration of one year plus the duration between the previous certificate expiration date and the date of the generation of the next certificate exactly for this reason. I mean If I did the same on GoDaddy, then my certificate for the next year would have expired also the 12/22/2025 and not the 03/12/2025.
Is that expected so next year I'll wait for the certificate to expire to renew it?
Or may be the certifcate will be issued when the current one expires so the expiration date will change in the dashboard?
