Topic: Does Port Redirect work?
I set up Port Redirct to port 81 instead of 80. My web server and router are all set to use port 81. When I ping the domain from a client (not the server,) the response is the IP for the name server; 199.233.237.21. When I disable the Port Redirect and ping the domain from a client (not the server,) the response is from my router; 79.161.113.42Is it the Port Redirect that is not working?Thank you,Scott Campbell

In case of web redirect, I think your host name will point to the port redirecter so it will not be the same IP as you router. The redirector will redirect the traffic from port 80 to port 81 of your router. You can use the port check utility to find out if port 81 is open on the router to access the website:https://www.dynu.com/en-US/NetworkTools/PortCheckI think from your description, things are setup correctly.
