Topic: Windows Update Client - Individual host update
Hello,I looked all over the forum and couldn't find the answer. Is there a way so the windows update client updates a specific hostname only?Thank you,Henryk

There is a field in the IP update client called Location. There is also a corresponding Location field for each hostname in the control panel. So yes, you can update a specific hostname using the Windows update client. What you do is you assign hostname 1 a Location in the control panel called firstlocation and use this location name in the Windows client.

Shame on me... I was so on looking for something like hostname that I didn´t even bother to give attention to the location field! Thank you very much!
