Why are all of the domains showing the same ip under the DDNS screen?

should"nt the ip"s show up as the one on the external interface of each router?

I've installed the DDNS update client on each remote PC and its showing the same address for all when an update is forced. The Routers and PC's are all in different towns.

if I perform a nslookup by the the newly added DDNS name from each machine it have the correct IP's.

There is a parameter called 'Location' that decides what hostnames to update and it is very easy to overlook it.

You can assign a location to the hostnames in the control panel and use that location name in the IP update client to update a specific hostname.

For example, if you have host1.dynu.com and host2.dynu.com and you run 2 instances of IP update client that uses host1.dynu.com at home and host2.dynu.com at your workplace. You can assign host1.dynu.com the location name HOME and host2.dynu.com the location name WORK in the 'DDNS Services' area of the control panel. For the IP update client running at home, use the location name HOME in the client and the location name WORK for the IP update client running in your workplace.

For Windows IP update client, the location field is in the 'Settings' tab. It is easy to spot in other client software.
