Hello all together,

I am struggling with adding a Service Record for my server.

* Lets say I know the domain example.com.
* Want I want to achieve is that subdomain.example domain goes to example.com:12345
* I am adding a service record like this.
* Node Name: _service1._udp.subdomain
* Type: SRV
* TTL: 120
* Port: 12345
* Target: example.com
* The DNS record looks like this:
* Hostname: _service1._udp.subdomain.example.com
* Type: SRV
* Target: example.com

No matter how long I wait. This record is not working at all. Going directly to example.com:12345 is working fine. Adding an alias subdomain.example.com and going to subdomain.example.com:12345 is also working, so it is not a firewall issue.

Any advice? I tried this tutorial but obviously I am not getting what I am doing wrong:
