FAQ What does VPS stand for?

VPS stands for Virtual Private Server. This kind of server environment operates similarly to a dedicated server. However, instead of a single physical server, you’re sharing multiple physical servers, which are linked together through virtualization technologies.

FAQ What kind of virtualization do you offer?

We only offer KVM which is a true virtualization where the VPS operates as its own server, independently of the host node. KVM has no restrictions in terms of functionality and allows install of various operating systems.

FAQ Where are your servers located?

The virtual private servers are served out of our multiple Tier 3+ Phoenix, AZ, USA data centers.

FAQ What is the speed of your network?

All VPS nodes hosted at our datacenters are connected through a minimum 10 Gigabit network to the backbone, guaranteeing your access to multiple gigabits of premium Tier-1 bandwidth. The connectivity is also network teamed to provide load balancing and performance benefits.

FAQ What type of hardware will my VPS be hosted on?

We exclusively use enterprise class hardware to host our VPS nodes which include Intel Xeon based processors with N+1 redundancy for storage, power and network. The storage is solely NVMe SSD based for performance reasons.

FAQ Is my VPS DDoS protected?

Your VPS comes with 10 Gbps DDoS protection. We automatically nullroute targeted IPs across our network and email clients when under attack. The nullroutes are listed and added as needed dynamically by monitoring the state of the attack. We minimize downtime to all users by handling the issue quickly and automatically.

FAQ Do you backup VPS data?

We do not take backups of VPS data. We highly recommend that clients keep offsite backups on their own. You can also keep your data safe with our scheduled backup and snapshot service at an extra cost. Clients are responsible for their own data.

FAQ Do you offer a trial period or demo?

We do not offer a trial period nor a demo at this time. If you are uncertain if a specific plan will meet your requirements, you can contact us to have a consultation about it.

FAQ How long will it take to set up my VPS?

Your VPS will be provisioned immediately after payment is processed. However, it will take a few minutes for the operating system to be installed on it. You will receive an activation email as soon as it is ready for use thereafter. Please note that crypto orders are only processed after few confirmations on the blockchain.

FAQ Where is my VPS information email?

You will receive an activation email after the VPS is provisioned. If you have not received the activation email, please check your spam/junk mail. Please note that the information in the activation email is also available in the control panel.

FAQ Can I upgrade my VPS?

Yes, you can upgrade your VPS from one package to another at any time. The fee will be prorated and you will receive discounts as you did with your original service as well.

FAQ Can I downgrade my VPS?

No, because of potential data loss, you cannot perform an in-place downgrade of your VPS. However, you can download all important data from the VPS to your own computer and open a support ticket to have us downgrade your VPS with a fresh reinstall of operating system.

FAQ Do you offer refunds?

No, we do not offer refunds. If you have additional questions, please contact support.

FAQ How can I cancel the service?

You can cancel the service in the Cancel Service area of the control panel. You have the option to cancel the service immediately or at the end of the current term.

IP Address


FAQ How many IP addresses come with one node?

Each node comes with a single IPv4 address as well as a /64 IPv6 range.

FAQ Do your IP addresses come from different subnets?

We own and operate our own ASN with multiple subnets. IP addresses are assigned to the VPS from different subnets.

FAQ How do I connect to my VPS?

All VPS have direct VNC access at the hardware level. This allows you to access the VPS outside of the operating system. Your VPS will also have access through SSH or Remote Desktop depending on the operating system installed on the VPS.

FAQ How I setup reverse DNS for the IP address assigned to my VPS?

You can setup reverse DNS for IP addresses associated with your VPS in the Reverse DNS area of the control panel.

FAQ Do you support multiple IPv4 addresses per instance?

Each instance comes with a single static IPv4 address which is assigned from a pool of available addresses. It cannot be chosen or changed. Please submit the IP justification form from within the control panel to apply for additional IPv4 addresses for an extra fee.

FAQ Do you offer IPv6 support?

Yes, IPv6 is available. Each VPS is provided with a /64 IPv6 range.

FAQ Do you block any ports?

We do not block any ports inbound or outbound. You can manage the firewall within the operating system to block and unblock ports as needed.

Operating System


FAQ Can I re-install the OS myself?

Please download any important data to your own computer before performing a re-install. Reinstalling the VPS operating system will completely wipe your VPS. You can use the Reinstall option in the control panel to quickly refresh the OS or even install a new one at any time. The re-install process is very quick and usually takes between 1 to 5 minutes depending on the OS being installed. You can use this feature to experiment with different operating systems.

FAQ Can I install the OS using my own ISO?

Yes, you can mount your own ISO on to the VPS and install the operating system yourself.

FAQ Can I reset the password for my VPS?

The root password can be reset in the Change Password area of the control panel for Linux based operating systems. Unfortunately, the administrator password cannot be reset for Windows based operating system in the control panel. To reset the administrator password for Windows operating system, you can open a support ticket and we may be able to assist you with it on a case by case basis.

FAQ How can I access my VPS?

You can access your VPS at both the operating system level and the hardware level. At the operating system level, you can access your VPS using SSH or Remote Desktop. At the hardware level, you can access it using VNC. VNC can be used to troubleshoot issues in your VPS as well as install your own operating system.

FAQ Can I enable CPU/Host Passthrough for my VPS?

You can change the CPU emulation mode from Host-model to Host-passthrough in the Settings area of the control panel. This will allow your VPS to utilize processor features such as AES-NI.

FAQ Do you offer managed VPS?

No, your instances grant you full root/administrator access and are entirely self-managed.

FAQ How is bandwidth usage calculated?

We calculate your bandwidth usage based on your outbound traffic. We do not charge for inbound traffic.

FAQ Does bandwidth used in between VPSs count?

The bandwidth between VPSs will not count. If you have multiple VPSs, we can place them on the same host to ensure fast and secure connection between them. Open a support ticket to have us assist you with this.
