If you have a D-Link DSR-250N wireless router, you may use the Custom option in the router to update the IP address for your domain name.

Log into the web interface of your router and navigate to Dynamic DNS WAN Settings, you can apply these setting:

  • Dynamic DNS Service Type: Custom
  • DynDNS Server: api.dynu.com
  • User Name: enter your Dynu username, which could be found in the My Accounts section of the control panel
  • Password: enter your Dynu password or IP update password. MD5 or SHA256 hash of the password is also accepted on our server side.
  • Host Name: enter your hostname, for example, example.dynu.com or example.com
  • Force Update Interval: 1
  • URL: /nic/update?
