If you have a ZyXEL ZyWALL USG50 router, you may use the built-in Dynu option in the router to update IP address for your domain name.

Zywall-USG50-DDNS Dynu Basic


You may follow the settings in the picture above to configure your account, two special fields are:

  • DDNS Type: Dynu Basic
  • Username: If you have a Dynu subdomain example.dynu.com, example.dynu.net or example.freeddns.org, the username is example.

    You may follow the settings in the picture above to configure your account, two special fields are:

  • DDNS Type: Dynu Premium
  • Username: If you have a domain name example.com or example.net etc, the username is example.

    If you still have questions about the configuration, you may contact support.

    NOTE: Latest firmware of Zyxel USG50 has removed 'Username' field but that does not affect the IP update process. As long as you enter the correct 'Domain Name' and 'Password', IP address for your domain name will be updated. The password should not have any symbols.
