If you have a CenturyLink Actionec C3000A Zyxel C1100Z router, you may use the Custom option in the router to update IP address for your domain name.

Log into the web interface of your router. In the top menu bar, choose Advanced Setup then Wan Settings then Dynamic DNS, you can apply these setting:

  • Dynamic DNS active: Custom
  • Dynamic DNS Server: api.dynu.com
  • Request: /nic/update?
  • Username: enter your Dynu username, which could be found in Account Profile in the control panel
  • Password: enter your Dynu password or IP update password. MD5 or SHA256 hash of the password is also accepted on our server side.
  • Host Name: enter your hostname, for example, example.dynu.com or example.com

Once set up correctly, please restart your router and then you should be able to see a SUCCESSFUL result.
