would like to get some confirmation from you guys rgd this matters-

1) do we need the IP update client if we are on a vps with fix IP? the only time the IP will change is when we have to destroy and re-create a new vps. could we just do it manually as dont want to install anything on the server if really not needed. Theorically it should work.

2) what is the maximum number of days we need to update the DDNS's IP on Dynu? for noip free, it is every 30 days else it will be inactive. this might be a reason we need to setup the IP update client....
