For users who have a MultiTech router, you may use the 'custom' option in the device to use our dynamic DNS service
for your domain name.
You can navigate to the Setup menu and then DDNS Configuration section to apply these setting in your device:
Enabled: check this option
Service: custom
Server: api.dynu.com
Port: 8245
Domain: enter your hostname, for example, example.dynu.com or example.com
Max Retries: 5. Defines the maximum number of connection attempts before failure (default:5)
Update Interval: 1. Defines the number of days between forced updates (default:28)
Use Check IP: check this option
Check IP Server: ipcheck.dynu.com
Check Port: 8245
Username: enter your Dynu username, which could be found in
My Account
in the control panel
Password: enter your Dynu password or IP update password.
